January 13, 2017t

This week we are studying the moon.  It is smaller than the earth (maybe the size of a tennis ball to the size of a globe for earth and the size of the school for the sun). Copernicus is a special crater on the moon.  There is an American flag on the moon.  It has wires in it to make it look like it is flying because it has no wind.  We finished reading Midnight on the Moon by Mary Pope Osborne.

If students didn't ski, they made dinosaur launchers.

First grade rocks!
