This week we had Open House.  We showed our parents our fossils.

In Art we made clay owls.  We added texture for feathers.

We played Line Tag in PE.

In Music we played Poison Rhythm.

We filled in a part of number grid in our Math Journals.  It was like a math puzzle.

We had a great week!

This week in Art we finished our paper bag puppets.

In Music we made patterns with drums.  We also watched a movie called Stomp,  where people made music with chairs.

We are making a new story in Spanish.

This week in music we used instruments  to make patterns and found patterns on our clothes.


In Art we made paper bag puppets and added texture.

We learned about the different layers of the earth.  We learned that the layers showed the earth was old and that dinosaurs lived in different time periods.  It also showed the scientists how old dinosaurs were.  As the earth continues to change, more fossils will be made and found.

We used bean bags in PE.

We had a great week!

This week we made cardboard creations (some of us made puppets again!) in Art.

We made dinosaur fossils in Science.  Then we sketched and made observations about it.

We played High 5 tag in PE.  We also played Mr. Lord's new game that he made up but he hasn't named it yet.

We listened to dinosaur books and answered questions in Computer.

We played Freeze Dance in Music.  We also sang Rock Around the Clock.

We had a great week!
